Anacristina Somarriba is the Learning Community Coordinator for AERDF. She supports program teams and the organization to ensure high quality management and execution of projects related to professional development & codification. In addition, supports the engagement and recruitment process of Program Directors in partnership with the Director of Strategic Development. After graduating from the University of Puget Sound, Anacristina worked at Teach For America Bay Area for five years. Throughout her time at TFA she held a variety of roles, but most recently led hiring, building team culture and people operations. Anacristina gets the most energy by supporting her teammates – ensuring they feel connected to one another and set up for success. She enjoys reading, swimming and spending time with family/friends. Although a San Francisco native she lives in Providence, RI.
